Organic Facial for Acne
WHAT IS AN ORGANIC FACIAL?
Organic facial uses facial products with 100% natural organic ingredients. We recommend our clients with more sensitive skin to have an organic facial free from any harsh chemicals. This means that the facial products we use do not have any synthetic chemicals, fragrances, preservatives, additional coloring, or petroleum based ingredients that may block your pores and cause any irritation. Our products are tailored with the most active ingredients filled with vitamins, nutrients, and antioxidants that will give your skin a natural glow.
WHAT IS AN ACNE FACIAL?
Jump start acne clearing and help prevent acne well beyond treatment with our deep cleansing professional acne facial. Acne skin is very sensitive thus requires a very gentle approach along with specific products with acne treating ingredients. They are designed to remove excess build up of sebum from under the skin, reduce inflammation, and give the pore a chance to heal. Although an acne facial is not a cure for acne, we are confident that along with our quality products and home skin care routine follow up, over time we can significantly reduce facial acne.
We recommend drinking lots of water to hydrate your skin and prepare it for a facial. Continue with your normal skincare routine otherwise. Avoid drinking alcohol a day or two before as this will dehydrate your skin and thin your blood vessels leading to irritation during the facial. Also try not to use any retinol products within 3 days to avoid any interactions with facial products that may cause irritation. Furthermore, avoid oily foods within 2 days of facial.
Our esthetician will begin with a short skincare consultation to obtain more information about your skin type and discuss treatment options accordingly. During the facial, you will go through a series of cleansing, extraction, steam, exfoliation, facial massage, and facial masks. The facial duration is usually up to 1 hour long.
Upon completion of the facial, we recommend drinking lots of water to keep your face hydrated. Also avoid the sun as much as possible for the rest of the day. Try not to touch your face for the remainder of the day. Don’t take too hot or too cold of a shower. Avoid excessive heat such as saunas for at least 72 hours as this will open your pores and may irritate your skin. Finally, avoid application of any makeup for the rest of the day. Allow your skin to breathe and reveal its natural glow. Our esthetician will review post skincare tips with you at the end of your facial.
